When: Saturday, September 30th at 11:00 am The 4-week class introduces real world foundation skills such as polite greetings, focus, settle on a mat and loose leash walking. What we cover: This abbreviated version of our MYM Level 1 Class is designed to be offered in satellite locations so we can provide learning opportunities for folks who may not be able to travel to our main training center. Where: Outdoors at Fleischmann Field in Central Square If you have a dog who displays this behavior, consider our Beast on a Leash Class or our in-home private training services. Note: This class is not appropriate for dogs who growl, bark and lunge at other dogs/people. Learn how to train your dog – and have a great time while you do. We’ll also help you troubleshoot typical problems that occur in your home, neighborhood, or at the park. What we cover: All the basics of good manners and prevention of problems, for example: Sit, stay, come when called, loose-leash walking, pay attention, impulse control and polite greetings. When: Saturday, September 30th at 10:00 am (FULL) Prerequisite: Current vaccination certificate When: Wednesday, September 13th at 5:00 pm (No class on 10/5) – FULL Designed with the special needs of teenage dogs in mind, we continue to provide supervised off leash play but in this program your dog will get more one-on-one training time. What we cover: This is a continuation of our popular Puppy Play & Train Program and as such it is ideal for participating dogs to have attended at least 1 Puppy Play & Train session though it is not mandatory. When: Mondays and Thursdays at 9 AM (click registration link for current dates as some may be unavailable) Your puppy will have an opportunity to play with other puppies while we provide you with instruction on what healthy play looks like and how/when to intercede. What we cover: This class will introduce basic skills as well as tips for training and socialization to help you raise a well-rounded dog. OPEN ENROLLMENT FORMAT: No need to wait for a new session to begin! You can start the week that works for you and from there you will complete 4 weeks in a row (unless all spots have been filled). Puppy Social Skills Class: Puppies 8-20 weeks The floor in our training center is fully sanitized prior to each program day to make sure your puppies remain as safe as possible. We need at least the first round of vaccinations in addition to a deworming. ** Vaccines required depend on your puppy’s age. Play with other puppies is under the direct and constant supervision of our certified trainers. For a traditional class where you attend with your puppy please scroll down to the next option.ĭuring your puppy’s time with us we will be focusing on important and strategic age-appropriate socialization tasks as well as basic training to help your puppy develop into a well-adjusted, well-mannered adult.
